Fostering dialogue, understanding and collaboration with council, communities and other stakeholders
- Establish regular meetings with councils (at least 6 monthly)
- Be a participant of the TANK collaborative process to recommend water quantity and quality limits for the Greater Heretaunga and Ahuriri catchment plan change.
- Engage with government and others that have an interest in forestry, including NZTA, powerline companies, DOC, TB Free NZ, WINZ.
- Arrange field trips on health and safety, environmental practice and new harvesting methods.
- Share experience with other wood councils, including 6 monthly joint council meetings.
